We are firm believers in offering a truly personalized approach. There are no one-size-fits-all treatment plans here - no protocols, nothing cookie-cutter at all. For all Functional Medicine appointments, Dr. Erickson will be available to personally spend an ample 1.5 hours with you on the day of your first appointment. His first priority will be to listen and give you the time that you need.

Many patients have been left to feel completely disregarded by conventional medicine with no acknowledgement of their symptoms at all, and have been told “it’s all in your head.” Even in the holistic world of medicine, many of our patients report feeling rushed and misunderstood, having spent copious amounts of time and money, while still feeling no different.

A Personalized Diagnostic Plan

During your first appointment, Dr. Erickson will carefully review with you your past medical history, what you’ve struggled with in the past, your current concerns, and your goals for the future. He’ll formulate a personalized diagnostic plan that addresses the issues you have been dealing with for so long. He’ll discuss his plan for testing with you, and explain in simple terms how he feels he can help you with that information, and how he believes the results will allow him to identify the root cause.

Dr. Erickson is uniquely skilled at patient assessment by intuitively observing and listening to every detail in such a way that the patient feels validated and heard. Many often refer to him as a “medical detective” because he is so attentive and acutely interested in each and every minute detail and every part of your story. With a Medical Doctor, a Functional Medicine Doctor, Chiropractor and Acupuncturist on staff, we are able to offer a unique blend of services and the best of both worlds! The core foundation of our practice is offering a holistic, natural approach, but in more clinically significant cases, we have the opportunity to make available certain complementary medications which can be synergistic in assisting patients needing a more focused and intensive approach.

Does Insurance Cover My Care?

For chiropractic care, we are in network with most major insurances! Once we have the opportunity to evaluate you in the office, we will explain our plan of care which would involve details about your treatment plan, benefits, coverage levels and more.

Acupuncture is a service that is very rarely covered by insurance, and as a result, we do not bill directly to insurance. We are happy to provide detailed receipts for you to self-submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you desire.

The Functional Medicine or Biomedical Autism visit is not able to be billed to insurance, however we do our best to make the cost reasonable and affordable to the average person. While not directly billable to insurance, you are welcome to use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA) as a source of payment for the visit, or any other service or product in our office! We are happy to provide detailed receipts which contain any information needed by most plan administrators. Patient financing is always available through Care Credit which offers patients 6 or 12 month interest-free financing for most purchases.

When it comes to diagnostic testing, we will do our best to order testing for you that can be covered by insurance as often as possible! Conventional bloodwork is typically covered by insurance. If the test is not one that is covered by insurance, we will always take ample time with you to discuss pricing and affordability, and help you move forward in a way in which you are comfortable. Patient financing is always available through Care Credit which offers patients 6 or 12 month interest-free financing for most purchases.
